The Process
1. GET ON MY CALENDAR
When you book your session, a 50% non-refundable retainer fee is due when booking to secure your session date and time. I will also send you a questionnaire and contract to complete.
2. LET’S CHAT
If you book the Heart of the Home or The Complete Story package, I will schedule a 20-minute phone consultation with you. This call is a great opportunity for us to discuss styling, locations, and what to expect during your session.
3. BEFORE + DURNING PHOTOSHOOT
Roughly a week before your scheduled photoshoot, I will be in touch to discuss any last-minute logistics. During your session, my approach to photography is easy-going and natural, as I always strive to document more organic family moments than traditional portraits.
4. GALLERY DELIVERY
I will send you a proof gallery within a week. From there, you can choose your favorite images you want me to edit. My editing process takes 2-3 weeks.
5. PRINT YOUR IMAGERY
I’m excited to offer a variety of prints and products through Pic-Time—the platform where you will receive your completed gallery. You can easily purchase your favorite images as prints or select from a range of beautiful products, such as canvases, albums, and more.

I wholeheartedly believe in documenting organic raw family moments. I strive to tell your story from an honest and documentary-style perspective. While I do capture a few traditional portraits during sessions, it’s not my main focus. Please note: I typically deliver 1-5 traditional portrait images.

From there, your products will be shipped directly to you. I cannot stress enough how important it is to print and display these images in your home. Not only will they bring joy and warmth to your space, but they will also serve as a reminder of the special moments you shared as a family!
I do! If you book my Heart of the Home or The Complete Story package, my client closet is complementary. If you book The Short N ‘Sweet package, you may use my client closet for an additional $50.
If you prefer traditional family portraits, I am happy to refer you to another local photographer who can photograph your family in a more traditional manner.
